If anyone disagrees with this essay, they should the Essay:Donald Trump was not lying and bluffing when he threatened to impose tariffs to force trade negotiations.
- Today, you attempted to get me interested in tariffs in an impolite matter. Namely, forcing it on my user page. However, the adage that you catch more flies with honey than vinegar remains true when it comes to interpersonal relations. You can't expect people to drop everything and immediately be interested in what you are interested in. And trying to force things on people is a sure recipe for failure to gain their interest.
- I am aware that Donald Trump has imposed some new tariffs on China that could go into effect on Febuary 10, 2025 (Unless they are cancelled or postoned). In addition, the Trump administration has indicated that they may slowly ramp up tariffs when it comes to putting tariffs on nations.
- With that being said, Andy sometimes posts material on economics and there are plenty of political/economics avenues on the web to discuss politics/economics such as Twitter, Reddit and forum websites. If you want to have discussion about tariffs, I suggest using those avenues. Conservative (talk) 16:23, February 4, 2025 (EST)
