Inspiring
- Isaiah 40:31Â : "but they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint."
- Isaiah 41:10: "Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee ...."
Prophetic
Isaiah 7:14Â : "Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign. Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel."
Against tyranny
The only express warning in the Bible against "tyrants" is at Isaiah 49:24-25 (ESV) which includes "the prey of the tyrant be rescued, for I will contend with those who contend with you."

Isaiah 3:12Â : "As for my people, children are their oppressors, and women rule over them. O my people, they which lead thee cause thee to err, and destroy the way of thy paths." (KJV)
Materialism
Isaiah 2:8 "Their land also is full of idols; they worship the work of their own hands, that which their own fingers have made" (KJV)
