Selah

Selah is a pause or substitute for "Amen" which is used about 71 times at the end of individual Psalms, perhaps as a musical break when sung.
The Oxford Annotated Revised Standard Version, College Edition, describes "Selah" as "a liturgical direction," perhaps indicating that "there should be an instrumental interlude at this point in the singing of the psalm."[1]
