Convergent thinking

Convergent thinking "is a cognitive process where one focuses on finding a single, best solution to a problem by analyzing and narrowing down possibilities. It's a structured and logical approach, often used after divergent thinking (exploring multiple possibilities) to evaluate and refine ideas."[1]
