Sentence variety "involves using diverse sentence lengths and structures to enhance a text's flow, maintain reader engagement, and emphasize important ideas. By varying sentence patterns, including simple, compound, complex, and compound-complex sentences, and by changing how sentences begin (e.g., with phrases or adverbs), writers can avoid monotony, create a pleasing rhythm, and make their writing more dynamic and impactful."[1]
