33% of high school graduates never read another book the rest of their lives and 42% of college grads never read another book after college.[1]

Book reading is tremendously beneficial, and yet a study in 2015 found that "only 60 per cent of books purchased are ever opened, let alone fully read.[2]

That percentage has probably fallen further, as illiteracy has increased while book sales have flattened.
