Lamech was the name of two men mentioned in the Bible who lived before the Great Flood. One was the son of Methuselah and had two wives, Adah and Zillah who bore him Jabal, Jubal, Naamah, and Tubal-Cain. All of them were lost in the great flood. That Lamech was the first recorded polygamist. The other Lamech was the father of Noah.[1]
