The New English Translation (NET) is a free online translation of the Bible that came from the best currently available Aramaic, Greek, and Hebrew texts. It contains over 60,000 notes made by over twenty scholars. This Bible translation has been endorsed by students and scholars alike.[1]
Even scholars who do not entirely support every word choice in this translation are enthusiastic about its very informative explanatory notes.
Notable differences
- The NET often translates the term for âscribeâ as âexpert in the lawâ.
"The NET often translates "the word of the Lord" and similar phrases as "the Lord's message."
