Foreign policy

Foreign policy is the policy which national governments adopt in relation to their dealings with other nations. They use diplomacy and warfare to achieve their goals.
Foreign policy should not be confused with tourism. While the United States State Department may issue travel advisories for certain regions of the world, securing safe tourist destinations is not the primary focus of relations between nations.
