The Critical Text is a Greek New Testament based on an influential publication in 1881, by Brooke Westcott and Fenton Hort, called âThe New Testament in the Original Greek,â nicknamed âWestcott & Hortâ for short.[1]
There are an estimated 5,000 Greek manuscripts of the New Testament that have been discovered and are available today.
