Marijuana is an illegal drug.
The effects of marijuana include a feeling of euphoria, short-term memory loss, mild hallucinations, and an impairment of physical and mental functioning. Marijuana is a gateway drug, and its users generally later turn to even more dangerous drugs such as cocaine, methamphetamine, and heroin.
