George Boole

George Boole was an English mathematician in the nineteenth century. He invented Boolean algebra. Boolean algebra is a mathematical system consisting of three logical operators, AND, OR, and NOT. AND corresponds to multiplication, OR corresponds to division, and NOT does not really have an algebraic equivalent.
