VoteVets.org is a United States "pro-military organization founded by veterans of the war in Iraq and Afghanistan to be the voice of the 21st century patriot". Their "mission is to ensure that today’s soldiers have the necessary resources to successfully complete their missions abroad and the support they deserve when they come home". They "are committed to winning the war on terror and preserving the strength of the US military." [1] The mission of the VoteVets.org political action committee (PAC) "is to elect Veterans of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan to public office; hold public officials accountable for their words and actions that impact America’s 21st century servicemembers; and fully support our men and women in uniform". The PAC has endorsed both Democratic and Republican candidates for office. [2]

VoteVets.org participates in the Americans Against Escalation in Iraq coalition. [3]
