John Bunny (b. 1863 in New York City - d. 1915 in Brooklyn, New York) American comedian He is considered one of the greatest of the early screen comedians (American silent film).

John Bunny was a vaudvillean from Brooklyn who specialized in comedies. He's mostly forgotten now, but he was a major movie star in 1913 when the Bunny Theater was named in his honor on 147th Street. [1]
