Suction abortion

Suction aspiration is a form of abortion where the abortionist first numbs or paralyzes the cervix. Then he uses dilators to open the cervix. He then inserts a hollow tube with a very sharp tip into the uterus. The tube is connected to a powerful pump with a very strong suction force. The procedure tears the body into pieces. The placenta is then cut from the inner wall of the uterus and the scraps are sucked out through the hose into a bottle. This procedure usually takes about 15 minutes. This type of abortion is used for most first trimester abortions in many countries.
