Titration is the process of slowly reacting a base with an acid of known concentration (or vice-versa) until just enough acid has been added to precisely react with all of the base present. [1] This process can be used to determine the concentration of an unknown acid or base, or it can be used to determine the acid dissociation constant (Ka) or base dissociation constant (Kb) of an acid or base, respectively.
