Disagree. Greater Manchester is a metropolitan county; merging would be like merging Salisbury to Wiltshire, or Los Angeles with California. 10px Fox (talk|contribs) 13:20, 12 January 2008 (EST)
As the original author of the article, I also disagree. I believe that Altrincham is significant within Greater Manchester. This is clearly an issue beyond just Altrincham as User:Ed Poor believes that a number of my articles should be merged into others, for example Penzance with Cornwall.Barclay 14:14, 12 January 2008 (EST)
