Pharaoh was a title used for rulers of Egypt from 1539 to 1292 BC. The Pharaoh was belived to be a god (specifically, an incarnation of the god Horus) and absolute owner and dictator of the country, and was worshipped by the people. Some famous pharoahs include Tutankamen "King Tut" Ramses II Atem
