Demonizing conservatives

Demonizing conservatives is the strategic attempt to portray conservatives in a false light in order to dissuade people from considering conservative principles. The demonizing of conservatives occurs with greatest effect on college campuses, but also exists with less influence in other areas, such as the internet.
For example, one blogger observed about a liberal talk radio show in Arizona:[1]
- Mike Newcomb (KPHX 1480 AM, 7a-10a) ... I just wish the show would concentrate more on providing information and resources and less on demonizing conservatives.
