Leiden

Leiden (in older sources sometimes spelled Leyden)is a small city in the Dutch province of Zuid Holland, located approximately midway between The Hague and Amsterdam. It is the home of Leiden University, founded in 1575 and one of the most prestigious universities in Europe.
The city has a population of 118,000
