Freedom of speech

Freedom of speech is the right of the people to state any fact, opinion, or belief that they desire to. It is considered a fundamental human right and is protected by the First Amendment of The United States Constitution. All speech is protected under the First Amendment, with certain defined exceptions. Speech which endangers others (such as yelling "Fire" in a crowded theatre) is not protected; nor is speech which is considered obscene.
