Middlesbrough Football Club ('Boro') is a soccer (called football in England) team based in Middlesbrough, in north-east England; it currently plays in the English Premier League. The side was founded in 1876 by members of Middlesbrough Cricket Club[1]. Between 1903 and 1995 its home ground was Ayresome Park but in 1995 it moved to the Riverside Stadium. Middlesbrough were winners of the League Cup in 2004.
They ended the 2007/08 season in 13th place in the Premiership.
Club Honours
- The only significant trophy ever won by the Club so far, has been the League Cup, won in 2004.
