A country is defined to be landlocked if it is entirely surrounded by land; alternatively, if it does not border any oceans or seas.[1] Traditionally, landlocked countries are considered to be at an economic disadvantage. They have more limited trade routes as well as no access to ocean reasources such as fishing. There are only two double landlocked countries (countries surrounded only by other landlocked countries) in the world, Lichtenstein and Uzbekistan[2].
