Amputation

Amputation is the removal of a body extremity through trauma or surgery. It is used to control control pain or a disease's that is in the limb. Amputation can also be used as punishment or acts of terrorism. Once removed, human extremities do not grow back, sid-effects include psychological trauma and discomfort.
