King George VI

George VI was the King of Great Britain (1936-1952) and the second son of George V. He succeeded Edward VIII (his older brother) after Edward abdicated the throne. He married Lady Elizabeth Bowes-Lyon (later known as the Queen Mother) and was succeeded by Elizabeth II.
