- No, it isn't sometimes called "the Forbidden City", except by people not in the know. The Forbidden City is the enormous imperial compoud in Beijing, but it doesn't refer to the city itself.
- I wrote the history section and previoulsy posted it to Citizendium. RJJensen 20:56, 21 September 2008 (EDT)
