Declaration of Rights and Sentiments

The "Declaration of Sentiments" was a feminist version of the Declaration of Independence that called for greater rights for women. The Declaration of Sentiments was the product of a meeting in 1848 of women suffragettes (supporters of the right to vote for women) in Seneca Falls, New York.
