Rodney King

Rodney King was a PCP user who was stopped and arrested in 1991 for driving under the influence and speeding. The arrest was been video-taped by a passer-by, and made news worldwide, leading to charges of police brutality. The four officers were charged, but a state jury convicted only one, and a federal jury convicted only two. The state acquittal kicked off the 1992 Los Angeles riots.
Rodney King has been arrested multiple times for intoxicated and dangerous driving several times since the incident.
