Rodney King

Rodney King was a PCP user who was stopped and arrested in 1991 for driving under the influence and speeding. The arrest was been video-taped by a passer-by, and made news worldwide, leading to charges of police brutality. The four officers were charged, but a state jury convicted only one, and a federal jury convicted only two. The state acquittal of the police officers involved was a strong contributer to the 1992 Los Angeles riots.
Rodney King has been arrested multiple times for intoxicated and dangerous driving several times since the incident.
