Dover is the name of a number of towns and cities.
In the United States it is the capital city of Delaware. It is also a small town in Pennsylvania where Creationists were handed their most humiliating defeat. Specifically, a Bush appointee determined thathis case came to us as the result of the activism of an ill-informed faction on a school board, aided by a national public interest law firm eager to find a constitutional test case on ID, who in combination drove the Board to adopt an imprudent and ultimately unconstitutional policy.

In England, it is an English Channel port in the county of Kent, notable for it white chalk cliffs - one of Britain's most well-known natural landmarks - and its proximity to France.
