Prophets (Mormon)

Members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormons) believe that there are modern day prophets. Mormons sustain the President of the Church as prophet, seer, and revelator.

There have been sixteen prophets of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The first prophet was Joseph Smith. The current prophet is Thomas S. Monson.
