Gary Samore

Gary Samore is an American politician, tapped as "weapons of mass destruction czar" in the administration of Barack Hussein Obama. Samore was previously a high-profile negotiator for the Clinton administration, where his policies towards North Korea are widely accepted to have been largely unsuccessful. Following his post in the Clinton administration, Samore acted Director of Studies and Senior Fellow for Non-Proliferation at the International institute for Strategic Studies in Britain. His main responsibilities there included directing the think tank's program called "Fostering an International Consensus on Fighting the Spread of Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD)". Samore will seek to prevent the proliferation of WMDs, though like many liberals, he is widely perceived as being at least somewhat sympathetic to the causes of rogue nations like Iran.
