Pervasive Developmental Disorder

Pervasive Developmental Disorder is a broad term used primarily by psychiatrists to refer to many autism-type conditions:
- autism
- Asperger's syndrome
- Rhett syndrome
- Childhood Disintegrative Disorder
Sometimes psychiatrists refer to "PDD-NOS", which means Pervasive Developmental Disorder-Not Otherwise Specified (PDD-NOS).
