Verizon Communications

Verizon Communications is the second largest telephone company in the United States, following AT&T. It was formed in 2000 with the merger of Bell Atlantic and GTE Corporation. It offers traditional landline telephone service, DSL, and a fiber to premises service known as FiOS, which carries phone, internet, and cable television services.
