Health Management Associates is a health care provider headquartered in Naples, Florida. It operates facilities primarily in the southern United States. The company's stock is traded on the New York Stock Exchange. Another (now defunct) company known as "Health Management Associates" involved in a tainted blood scandal was based in Arkansas. The two companies are in no way linked.
