Nurse

A nurse is a health care professional who may perform various tasks in a health care setting. Nurses may tend to the basic needs of patients, gather basic information about patients, administer medications to patients, assist in surguries, and (NPs can) even write prescriptions. There are various titles for nurses based on the amount of schooling they have experienced: Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Registered Nurse (RN), and Nurse practitioner (NP).
