Personal computer

A personal computer, stands for a computing device intended for one user. There was a question when personal computers first came out as to whether or not they would catch on or were a fad. Those who recognized the potential of personal computers turned out to be right, and one of the world's largest organizations, Microsoft, and the world's richest man Bill Gates, accomplished what they have in business because of personal computers.
As software market for personal computers became dominated by Microsoft and Apple, the term "PC" has been used to describe any computing device that:
- uses a Microsoft operating system; (Xp, Vista, Windows etc.)
- does NOT use ANY other Operating system such as (Linux, or Macintosh)
