History
Hull City was founded in 1904; they would've been founded sooner had it not been for the popularity of rugby union in the city. A history of disappointment has marred the team's past, but a fresh look has catapulted them to the top tier, where they hope to stay for years to come. They also hold the record for the fastest ascent from the lowest divison in The Football League to the English Premier League.[1]
