The Edge of Evolution

The Edge of Evolution, subtitled The Search for the Limits of Darwinism, is a 2007 book written by Dr Michael Behe of the Discovery Institute. In the book Dr Behe explains that while evolution may be able to produce changes within species, there is a limit to the ability of Darwinism to generate diversity, and this limit (described as the "edge of evolution") lies between species and orders. Behe goes on to show that known evolutionary mechanisms cannot possibly be responsible for the observed diversification from the common ancestor, therefore only the actions of an intelligent designer can adequately explain the diversity and wonders of life we see.

Evolutionists have tried unsuccessfully to refute Dr Behe's findings and arguments, although some have broken ranks and reluctantly admitted that many of Behe's arguments are troubling to the evolutionism position.
