Liberalism-ism

"Liberalism-ism" is a term coined by British conservative politician Douglas Carswell to describe the irrational belief that anything labelled "liberal"[1], "progressive" or "modern" must be inherently right, and anything labelled "conservative", "reactionary" or "regressive" must be inherently bad. He argues that the irrational belief in "progress" towards an imaginary goal has reached such a level that it may be itself termed an ideology; "the irrational belief in the ideology of liberalism", says Carswell in "The Left was Never Right", "has reached the level of an ideology in its own right; "liberalism-ism."[2]
