Sonogram laws

Sonogram laws are state requirements that women considering to have an abortion are provided a sonogram beforehand by the abortion clinic. Only five states have sonogram laws that include the first trimester of the pregnancy:

  • Alabama
  • Florida[1]
  • Louisiana
  • Mississippi[2]
  • Texas
