Hyena

The Hyena is an African mammal with long legs that eats meat. It hunts in packs with other Hyenae,and it is very social because it is laughing all the time. For this reason, it is often called The Laughing Hyena.

Hyenae are predatory scavengers, meaning that they will sometimes feed on carrion left from a previous meal, instead of killing their own food. They have spots, and are not common outside of zoos.
