Nebuchadnezzar

Nebuchadnezzar I was the Babylonian king from 1125 to 1103 B.C. He was responsible for the strengthening and fortification of Babylon, after ridding the empire of the Elamites. He then succeeded in capturing much more land from other groups, causing war with Assyria.
He should not be confused with the Biblically significant Nebuchadnezzar II.
