NVIDIA is a hardware company specializing in graphics cards. They manufacture the fastest graphics card in the world, the GeForce GTX 590, which was released March 24th, 2011. Also produced by this company are the workstation graphics cards known as Quadro, which are reputed to be the fastest ever, bar none. They also produce the assisted computing cards known as Tesla as well.
