The Red Hot Chili Peppers are an American alternative rock band which was formed in 1983. Since then, the band has gone on to release ten studio albums (five of which received Platinum status). Their current line-up consists of: Anthony Kiedis (vocals), Josh Klinghoffer (guitar, backing vocals), Flea (bass) and Chad Smith (drums). In
1991 they received a nomination for the Grammy Best Hard Rock Performance Award. In 2006 they received multiple awards for Stadium Arcadium. They first experienced mainstream success with Blood Sex Sugar Magik, with hit singles such as "Under The Bridge", "Give It Away", and "Breaking The Girl".
