So very sorry!

Mr GFitz - I'm new to all this 'pedia' editing and just like the total idiot I am, I make a complete fool of myself with my first edit. I'm 62 years old and won this computer in last year's bus conductors ('Clippies' as we call them in fair Dundee) club raffle! I only went 'online' two weeks ago and oh boy have I discovered a whole new realm of information! What is 'ameriwiki'? Is that better than his site? Should I add my extensive knowledge there instead? Please advise.

By the way, and I'm sorry for asking as I'm sure it's really obvious to all you computer wizzkids, how do you make your name appear in blue with the date and time? It's dead impressive!

Bob, you can call me George. I will help you as you wish.

Ameriwiki is a website dedicated to Americana, essentially.--GFitz 17:06, 1 January 2012 (EST)

George - my first American mate

A very big Dundee hello and 'happy new year' to George Fritz! I may well start my own Scotapedia! Sounds like a smart laugh. (Don't worry my new friend - I wouldn't know where to start!) I'll try the scwiggle thing you've suggested. I'm gutted that there's a very well written article on Dundee already! I bet you, my American friend, have no idea what the 'Beano' and 'Dandy' are... I don't think you have comics in America.

Well here goes George, I'll try your scwiggle thing. Wish me luck!

George, did I get it right?

Close. Just four of those "squiggly" things should do the trick. And no, I don't know what the Beano and Dandy are! :)--GFitz 17:35, 1 January 2012 (EST)

Only the best comics ever!

George, how can you grown up without 'Lord Snooty', 'Billy the Wizz', 'Superman', 'Roger the dodger', 'Minnie the minx' and 'Unlucky Jim'? All brilliant inventions by D. C. Thomson & Co based in Dundee! I still have a chuckle when Dennis the Menace and Gnasher run riot!

George, please forgive me, I didn't ask where you live! Are you a super cool New Yorker? A Texan cowboy? A Californian movie star? I've had a taste of stardom, I once played a corpse in 'Taggart'. I just lied on a bed and was paid £97.50!

Well, here goes with the signature thing!
