Interesting stuff, these homework assignments. A few questions though:

"Ever since governments [NEED APOSTROPHE] and news sources first began"

• Why is an apostrophe needed?

"The first and simplest issue with this sentence is it's anecdotal nature"

• Is the apostrophe needed in "it's"?

Other issues Gore brings to the forefront are melting of icebergs and exploitation of polar bears

• "exploitation" of ice bears? What does that mean the context of - alleged - climate change?
