Albert Pujols

Albert Pujols is a Christian Major League Baseball player from Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. He is currently the first baseman for the Los Angeles Angels, and formerly played with the Saint Louis Cardinals.

Foundation
Albert and his wife, Deidre, started the Pujols Family Foundation in 2005, which benefits " people with (a) Down syndrome (b) disabilities and/or life threatening illnesses as well as (c) children and families living in impoverished conditions in the Dominican Republic."[1] Albert's daughter Isabella has Down's syndrome.[2]
