Rob Sherman is a political activist from the greater Chicago, IL area. He has stated that he is "a civil rights activist" for the atheist community. Sherman was present at the debate between William Lane Craig and Frank Zindler in 1993 at Buffalo Grove, IL. Before and after the debate, Sherman gave brief presentations in which almost nobody showed interest. When he asked to give a tally about who would support passing Federal Legislation in support of "Atheist rights" the far majority of the audience said, "No."
