Adalius Donquail Thomas is a National Football League linebacker for the New England Patriots. He was born on August 18, 1977 in Nixburg, Alabama. Thomas is well known for his charitable work in the community work[1] including starting a chess competition for kids in inner city Baltimore and working with Habitat for Humanity. In 2001 he was an intern for a Illinois congressman in Washington D.C.[2]

College Football

While attended the University of Southern Mississippi from 1996-1999, Thomas was a football star for Golden Eagles (the University of Southern Mississippi football team). He was twice named the Conference USA Defensive Player of the Year and is the University of Southern Mississippi all-time leader in sacks with 34.5[2]
